Welcome to Peachy Wax! Please read before booking your appointment.
1. Peachy Wax requires a credit card to hold your appointment. Once you arrive and receive your service, you are free to choose your payment method. (Cash and Zelle are preferred, but we also accept credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App).
2. Your time is important to me. We get that things come up and your schedule may change, but please allow for at least 24 hours for any rescheduling and/or cancellations. Late cancellations will incur a 50% charge. Repeat cancellations will be subject to 100% charge.
3. Please take into consideration what time of day you made your appointment and allow yourself ample time for traffic, parking, bathroom etc. and be sure to arrive to your appointment on time. If you are running late, let me know.
2. We ask that your hair is AT LEAST a quarter inch to half an inch long. Longer is better if your hair is super thick. If you are a shaver, please wait 3-4 weeks after your last shave. If your hair is not long enough, you run the risk of an incomplete service.
5. If you are on any antibiotics or medications it may affect the sensitivity of your skin, and may not be able to be waxed. PLEASE let your waxer know if you are on antibiotics, Accutane, Retinols, or similar products. If you are unsure, please consult your prescribing physician.
After care: 24-48 hours after your wax
Keep the area that has been waxed CLEAN, and refrain from touching it with dirty hands
Wear loose, breathable clothes
NO vigorous workouts (I.e., spinning, anything that works up a sweat)
NO hot tubs/saunas
NO PHYSICAL INTIMACY IN THE AREA OF YOUR WAX!
After care: Between waxes
Waxing can cause ingrown hairs if not cared for properly. Exfoliating the waxed area 3-4 times a week will help prevent most ingrown hairs.
I like to use a facial scrub (body scrubs tend to have oils that will clog follicles) on the bikini/brazilian area, or any products with AHA and BHA ingredients.
